I worked with the agency Kreelicious to deliver this Valentine’s social media campaign for ‘We Love Merthyr’. We Love Merthyr have been building their social media audience with some unusual and innovative campaigns such as the Werewolf of Merthyr, so it was great to get back to work with Lyn on this project.
The theme we decided upon was #TheBigCwtch. The campaign included a vox pop video, “Gis A Cwtch” competition, social media content and #TheBigCwtch event. Sadly, due to the record bad weather conditions in January and February we had to call the main event off 🙁 but we are looking forward to organising this another time 🙂
We utilised Facebook and Twitter for the campaign with the most engagement happening on Facebook where ‘We Love Merthyr’ have a much larger following. Please take a look at the photos opposite displaying some of the cwtchy crowdsourced content we generated.
