As part of a new food event aimed at the general public, Bridgend Council were looking for some alternative ideas for an unusual food related centre piece to form a spectacle in the town centre. They required something with the wow factor that would evolve during the two days, be interesting, imaginative and would get people talking.
Proposal
Giant Cauliflower Sheep
And boy did we give them something to talk about..!!
We constructed a giant sheep measuring aprox 3mts high using cauliflowers as the outer layer to give a wool like effect and aubergines for the face and legs.
The unique artistic vegetable sculpture provided some great pre-event promotional material and acted as a centre piece for the food festival. Our friendly sheep certainly gathered the crowds and gave them a bit more than they were expecting! Although the project didn’t go quite as expected it surely provided a spectacle for the festival goers and has since received thousands of You Tube views

We were recommended to approach Gareth to help us come up with something creative and very different for Wales Alternative Food Festival in Bridgend, and he delivered in the form of a 10 foot giant cauliflower sheep. Has to be one of the most unsuaual forms of food art ever seen at a festival. Fantastic. Creativity at its best!
